Cutters are square or rectangular frames with mounting pins attached used to control natural or artificial light. The Matthews 24x72 In. Floppy Cutter is used to keep away flash light from the camera lens or to control spill light coming from other sources and to keep light from reaching certain areas on the set. The floppy opens on the 72 inches side only. This flag is rectangular with mounting pins attached and covered with a solid cloth material. Cutters are larger and more irregular sizes.
