I love this camera. It is even more than I anticipated. About as close as you can get to a DSLR with a fixed lens. In fact its lens is more than you could reasonably hope for at such a price point. Above all is the video capability. This is broadcast capability and quality. Panasonic is right there with Sony as the new leaders in digital imaging. Canon is so far behind I can't see them in the rear view mirror and Nikon still has some serious catching up to do.

This camera is great. Being a senior I was concerned about it's large size and weight. But it feels great in the hands and isn't too heavy. Being larger than my Canon G11, it's actually easier for these old hands to operate. The free Onyx "Take it with You" bag is too small for the camera. Samy's quickly sent me a Pacific Series DSLR bag and it's perfect. The manual fits in the front pocket without bending! Great Customer service by Samy's!
