Both lenses capable of keeping a constant aperture of T2 across their full focal ranges. Both lens bodies completely metal and completely new mechanical bodies for Sigma. These weatherproof lenses, for Sony E Mount cameras, are cine zooms ready for 6K and 8K high-resolution cinema. Both the Sigma 18-35 and Sigma 50-100 share the same construction features and the same level of quality. The Sigma 50-100mm T2 E-Mount Cine Lens features a 100% new mechanical body that’s 100% metal, compact and lightweight, and capable of a constant aperture of T2 throughout its 50-100mm zoom range. Designed with Super 35mm format E-Mount Cameras in mind, this cine lens is ready for high-resolution shooting in 4K, 6K, and 8K! Perfect for lightweight, solo operation but more than capable of operating in a demanding, professional environment, the Sigma 50-100 T2 is also dust-proof and splash-proof. Delivering 50-megapixel + resolution, this lens is ideal for 8K recording and chroma keying as well. It features standardized gear positions with 0.8M gear pitch and a linear iris ring with optional manual control. Shooters will appreciate the 50-100mm T2’s 82mm filter size and 95mm front diameter — making it compatible with standard ND filters and matte boxes. Sigma has made sure to include electronic contacts on the lens so that it is able to communicate important information to the NEX camera body: focal length, shooting distance, aperture, etc.

The weatherproof lens is completely mechanical and designed for use with ultra high resolution cameras, including those capable of 6 and 8K capture. The high speed zoom line, which is compatible with the Super35 image size standard, offers the constant aperture of T2 throughout the zoom range with superior optical performance that is capable of high-resolution 6K-8K shooting. Delivering the highest image quality in its class, the High Speed Zoom is ergonomically compact. The Cine High Speed Prime lineup features lenses ranging from 20mm to 85mm, with all five touting an aperture of T1.5. Highly compact and compatible with full-frame sensors, these lenses offer superior resolution. They bring a consistent level of light to the production, offering greater consistency to any film’s color, contrast and overall look before it enters post-production.

Laser engraving for enhanced durability: Information on each ring is laser-engraved for use over the long term. In addition, tape may be placed on gradations without fear of stripping away the paint when the tape is removed.
