Kylie Reviews: Sigma Art 35mm f 1.4 Lens

As a portrait photographer, I normally shoot at 50mm or longer focal lengths. However, I recently fell in love with the 35mm focal length after borrowing a friend’s Sigma Art 35mm f 1.4 lens. The wider focal length allows for more of the scenery to be included, and the quality of the sigma glass makes the images so smooth! I really like the distinctive look of the 35mm focal length, and of course, who doesn’t love the ability to stop down to f 1.4?!

The Art in Action: Wedding

I used the Sigma 35mm Art f 1.4 lens on this wedding shoot. I love how it captured the light and tones! I also took the lens with me on this portrait shoot, and used it exclusively. It’s definitely my new favorite lens to shoot with. The Sigma 35mm Art f 1.4 lens rocks indoors. The wide aperture allows more light to be let in, without sacrificing sharpness or image quality.
