The Elinchrom ELB 1200 Action Flash Head is flash head redesigned for use with the ELB 1200 battery-powered pack. Choose Action head sets to freeze subject’s motion with extremely fast flash durations at normal shutter speeds. It is ideal for photography with some movement. The Action head has a short action-freezing flash duration of 1/8850 with the power pack set at 172Ws. The flash head is enclosed in aluminum case and features a 50 W LED modeling light with a tungsten equivalent of 250 W. The LED light saves power considerably and is daylight balanced with a high CRI of 92 making it suitable for video if desired. It gives 80 minutes of run time with ELB 1200 battery pack. A VFC (Visual Flash Control) shuts down the light after exposure and turns it back on when the pack has recycled.
