The Elinchrom Translucent Diffuser for Deep Umbrella (41 In.) delivers the lighting effect of a direct or indirect softbox depending on which umbrella is used. The Translucent Diffuser can be used with the Umbrella Deep 105 cm silver, white and translucent. By simply adding the diffuser or reflector, the umbrella is transformed into a "fold-up" softbox, giving photographers another light shaper to use without sacrificing the umbrella's portability. The diffuser slips over the open side of the Deep Translucent Umbrella, with your flash head in the center of it. The diffuser can be used with the silver-interior Deep Umbrella results in mildly crisp but soft light with a slightly cool color rendition. The umbrella with a white interior yields softer light with a neutral to warm color quality, while use with the translucent umbrella casts light in all directions like a large light dome.
