The larger the light source is in relation to the subject, the softer the light will be. This simple fact is perhaps the most important lesson to learn about light. It is also the main reason why our rectangular softboxes come in so many sizes. With five sizes to choose from, you are guaranteed to always find the right tool for the job. This Profoto Flat Front Diffuser for RFi Softbox (3 x 4 ft.) is used in front of the RFi softbox to hide the recessed diffuser to reduce the output slightly and render smooth highlights in reflective objects. It just slips over in front of the softbox. The Flat Diffuser is also used in combination with the interior baffle and recessed front diffuser.
