During CES 2016, camera related companies took advantage of that platform to announce a plethora of new products. After a few days recovery and reflection time, we asked  Samy's Camera's CES delegation to give us their roundup of  CES 2016 cameras and imaging related product highlights.

On the pro-photographer level, the Nikon D5, the brand's new flagship camera  was announced to great fanfare. Causing particular excitement is the Nikon D5's promise to deliver game-changing low-light performance. As with the Nikon D5, the consumer-friendly Nikon D500 is a giant technological leap for the camera brand. In addition to a similar focus on low-light performance as the D5, the new Nikon D500 boasts the title of Nikon's first 4K APS-C DSLR camera. That the Nikon KeyMission 360 camera is the brand's first action camera is interesting. The real excitement, however, comes from the camera's ability to shoot 360-degree video in 4K quality. It also departs from the traditional spherical shape that has come to be associated with virtual reality cameras. Nikon is calling the KeyMission 360 the first in a family of action cameras.
