The Sony Vertical Battery Grip is designed to give your a7 or a7R more battery power and provides a comfortable grip when holding the camera vertically. The vertical grip holds 1-2 NP-FW50 batteries which are sold separately. The batteries can be swapped out without turning off the camera and the remaining battery power is displayed on the LCD screen of the camera.
