The MeFOTO RoadTrip Air Travel Tripod (Blue) provides an exceptional combination of materials, construction and features. It is great for point & shoot, mirrorless, micro 4/3 and DSLR cameras with larger lenses, converts to a monopod in seconds. It folds down to only 15.4" when folded yet 61.6" extended, it weighs 3.6 lb and can support up to 17.6 lb. We were tired of the all black tripod, so we came up with something that's smaller, lighter, and doesn't weigh you down, topped off with a spritz of color. Who says you can't teach a tripod new tricks? The RoadTrip tripod converts into a monopod. The removable leg and center column combine to make a full size monopod without tools. Although compact when folded, the RoadTrip extends over 5 feet tall, giving you the height range you need. These days, cameras are getting lighter and smaller - your tripod should be no different. Weighs just 3.6 lb yet strong enough to support a full DSLR and telefoto lens. This little number folds down to a quarter of its extended size, making it small enough to fit in your carry-on, shoulder bag, or backpack. Each MeFOTO comes with its own carrying case for transport and protection.
RoadTrip Air fits inside medium sized bags due to the unique HyperLock leg system where each leg section is nestled into one group. Operating the tripod is now faster as well because there is only 1 leg lock per leg instead of multiple locks per leg. A simple half turn unlocks the leg and it can be stopped at any position. The telescoping center column converts to a selfie stick simply by removing the weight hook. Each tripod includes a spring-loaded smartphone adapter and a rechargeable Bluetooth remote with a clamp that attaches to the handle. The dual action ballhead features an anodized aluminum housing and can support up to 17.6 lb payloads. A matching anodized aluminum Arca-Swiss style camera plate with a 3-in-1 screw is included.

- HyperLock leg locks: Each tripod and monopod uses MeFOTO's new HyperLock leg lock design, which is much faster than traditional tripods and monopods that have 9 to 15 leg locks. MeFOTO Air only has 1 lock per leg.
- Selfie Stick/Telescoping center column: You can take selfies with the included Bluetooth remote and smartphone adapter. When used as a center column it telescopes for additional height when needed.
- Lightweight: Way less to carry around. MeFOTO Air combines strong and lightweight materials making it possible to create a 2.5 lb tripod.
- Compact size: Fits inside small and medium sized bags. This is due to the unique HyperLock leg system where each leg section is nested into one group.
- Rigidity:& Don't be fooled by the size and lightweight design. MeFOTO Air is as sturdy as they come. The HyperLock leg lock design is actually superior to some traditional tripod leg locks.
- Ease of set up: User-friendly icons are located on the tripod and the ballhead so you don't need a user manual to figure it out.
- Arca Swiss compatible: Air fits industry standard plates. Great if you already own Arca Swiss plates or previous MeFOTO tripods.
- Colorful Anodized Aluminum Finish: MeFOTO uses high quality aluminum that is both strong and lightweight. The aluminum is anodized in 7 rich and colorful finishes.
