The Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM Autofocus Wide Angle Zoom Lens with Canon Mount offers an ultra-wide zoom solution for digital cameras, and was exclusively designed to suit the characteristics of digital SLR cameras.

The super wide-angle capability of this zoom lens (equivalent range of approx. 15-30mm when used with a Canon digital SLR camera (*) makes it a very powerful tool for both indoor and landscape photography.

DC lenses are exclusively designed for digital SLR cameras. The image circle (rear of lens) is made to match the smaller dimensions used for the image sensor on digital cameras. As a result, these lenses are also more compact and lightweight, and are better matched to digital SLR cameras.

Great Lens for a great price. I'm a beginner when it comes to SLR's and the available equipment. I was shopping for my first wide angle lens without breaking the bank. All the reviews that I've read in magazines and on line pointed to the Sigma 10-20mm or the Canon and Tamron counterpart. For the money and performance, the sigma seemed like the best deal. The first shot I took with it turned out awesome, at least in my mind. My next session out with it wasn't as great, but there was a lot more light and I think a filter is needed and I still have a lot to learn. From what I see after very little research, the ones available for a 77mm is quite expensive, but in the end I'm sure it will make a huge difference. Very well build lens. A little heavier that what I thought it was going to be but that's probably because I'm using an entry level Canon Rebel XS. Overall, great deal. Arrived with good packaging and quite quick.

This lens does exactly what I wanted it to do - it's a wide angle with a slight fish-eye effect around the edges. The focal length range of 10 to 20 is good. Sigma does a great job of making a high quality lens to fit my Canon 60D at a much lower price point than a Canon-brand lens. The only negative was that it doesn't have image stabilization. This was my first experience buying a Sigma product and also buying from Samy's. The staff I worked with was very knowledgable, helpful, and patient. I will definitely purchase from Samy's again and I will also consider buying other Sigma products in the future. Overall, I would give this lens a 4.5 rating.
