The Slik Grand Pro CF-4 Tripod uses space-age carbon fiber material to reduce weight and improve rigidity for a more stable camera support. This model is SLIK's largest carbon fiber tripod reaching a maximum height of 100 inches! The Grand PRO CF 4 has SLIK Twist-release Leg Locks. These locks are user adjustable to allow the tripod to hold up to 30 pounds of photographic equipment over 8 feet in the air. But due to the use of carbon fiber leg tubing the tripod weighs just 8.4 pounds.
