GOOD / This is a USED Camera. There are signs of use and handling. It is in great shape for it's age. This is not the German made Leica, but the Russian version of the camera.
This is a Russian version of the Leica IIIC from 1941-1942. IIIc with original engraving 'HEER' on the top plate, this military camera in perfect condition, red shutter. According to the Leitz salesbook this camera (code LOOQA) was delivered with a group of 20 cameras to bln (Berlin) order 25482 on May 24th 1941. Cameras engraved 'HEER' are much less common than 'Luftwaffen Eigentum' cameras.

The Leica IIIc is a 35mm rangefinder camera introduced by Leica in 1940. As an upgrade of the Leica IIIb, the Leica IIIc had important changes:
One piece die-cast body, instead of an assembly of small parts. The cover of the rangefinder is no longer a separate piece.
Improved internal mechanism.
3mm longer than the previous cameras.
Larger release button.
New exposure counter mechanism.
