The Offset Raised Railblock for 15mm rods, is essential while building a shoulder rig in which you need to place the dslr body right in front of your face for use with an LCD Loupe like the Z-Finder or the DigiFinder . It offsets a pair of industry standard 15mm rods 60mm to the side and it raises these rods 20mm to help put the LCD screen of your camera at eye level. Made of Aluminum anodized black its very strong yet light. *If you’re using a Battery Grip on your camera or if you’re using a Canon 1D MKII your camera will already be higher so we recommend that you use Straight Offset Railblock, without the rise.
