Web Pricing - Why are the prices on this web site different from those in your stores?
Our stores are staffed with a wide variety of product specialists and support staff, each of whom make an effort to be responsive and pleasant to deal with. We're also able to provide a customer with any item from our inventory to inspect and test. The cost of this customer service is an increased overhead for our in-store prices, to pay for the store space, the training of our employees, and other considerations not present online. We're happy to offer reduced prices online and hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase no matter where you decide to buy.
The Sea & Sea Fiber Optic YS Converter for RDX-100D is an internal TTL converter that plugs into the camera hot-shoe and works for fiber optic cables. Bypass the internal camera flash with it’s slow recycle rate and get rid of the bulkier electronic sync cords that can flood. The new Optical YS Converter is easy to install and even easier to use. Simply screw into place inside the housing and attach the hotshoe to your camera. An push of the button takes it out of TTL to manual mode if you want to have further control of your strobes.
Two Fiber-optic cable sockets. By inserting the Fiber-optic Cable into the housing connector, an external strobe will be optically connected to the camera’s built-in flash enabling full-featured strobe photography and creative lighting expression.
Reduce the risk of flooding via the strobe bulkhead
Gives you more battery life by not using the onboard flash
Allows you to take advantage of the fast strobe recycle time!
Eliminates reflections from the camera’s onboard flash in your dome
Achieves great TTL accuracy
Will be compatible with future DSLR and housings that do not have a flash.
Simple and Effective
