Web Pricing - Why are the prices on this web site different from those in your stores?
Our stores are staffed with a wide variety of product specialists and support staff, each of whom make an effort to be responsive and pleasant to deal with. We're also able to provide a customer with any item from our inventory to inspect and test. The cost of this customer service is an increased overhead for our in-store prices, to pay for the store space, the training of our employees, and other considerations not present online. We're happy to offer reduced prices online and hope that you will be satisfied with your purchase no matter where you decide to buy.

The Schneider Optics APO-DIGITAR F 5.6/60MM SES Lens is a newly calculated, all purpose standard focal length lens for use with the larger CCD sizes of today’s professional digital backs. It was designed in response to photographers who need exceptional performance and a very large image circle to allow for extreme movements and tilt/shift possibilities while keeping the high quality and resolution of a standard lens construction.
The lens design and huge image circle of 120mm is an ideal all-round lens solution for studio and location photography.
Electronic Shutter: The Schneider electronic shutter offers a number advantages over the mechanical shutters previously used in analog photography. First, it is more precise. Second, it has a remote control feature via the connected computer. Third, it provides a much wider setting range and new functions for the control of the depth of field and for extremely long exposure times.
Excellent General Use Choice: The recommended distance ranges from infinity up to an image scale of 1:3. Sharpness is still very good even at higher scales. The meticulous flattening of the field curvature of the 60 mm f/5.6 Apo-Digitar is an ideal mate for the perfectly planar sensor surface.
Apochromatic Design: In photography, chromatic aberration produces soft overall images, and color fringing at high-contrast edges, like an edge between black and white. Apochromatic lenses are designed to bring three wavelengths (typically red, green, and blue) into focus in the same plane. The result is superior color accuracy and apparent sharpness.
