Includes Digital ICE3 Automatic Image Correction
Kodak's Austin Development Center (KADC) Digital ICE3 combines Digital ICE, Digital ROC and Digital GEM together so you'll get the best out of your image without the need to spend large amounts of time making image adjustments and corrections in your image software. Digital ICE is a hardware based dust and scratch removal system that uses special infrared capability built into the scanner to detect flaws and dust in the film and uses special software to automatically correct for the image problems. Digital ROC Color Restoration reconstructs image color that has been affected by fading to its original condition through the use of sophisticated algorithms. Digital GEM Grain Management minimizes film grain effects in your image to improve overall image sharpness.
User Friendly Control Software
The included CyberView X scanning software is capable of scanning a single frame as well as filmstrips, and provides powerful tools for optimizing scanning and color reproduction with adjustable parameters including Image Palette, Color Balance, and Curves and Level setting. You'll also get Adobe Photoshop Elements software to further expand your creative options.
