It also contributes to the Light Speed AF to catch the most fleeting shooting opportunities. With the Wi-Fi® connectivity with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, users can connect the camera to their smartphone/tablet anywhere at one-touch without a need of cabling or searching a Wi-Fi® hotspot. Now it is possible to record video watching the shooting motion image live on a smartphone/tablet. With the new Instant Transfer function, photos are automatically sent to the designated electronic devices such as smartphones/tablets right after shooting.

On the other hand, both photo and video in their original size can be archived to the registered digital equipment such as PC via the wireless router at home. It is also possible to play back the images in the camera directly on the HDTV with Wi-Fi Direct™ function.
