The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS15 12.1MP Digital Camera boasts 24mm ultra wide angle 16x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens that fits in a slim, pocket-sized profile. The 16x optical zoom increases its power to 32x equivalent with the Intelligent Zoom function with minimum deterioration of image quality thanks to the Intelligent Resolution technology. It also features a large, 3.0-inch 460,000-dot Intelligent LCD Touch Screen. The DMC-ZS15 features a new mechanical structure and optical system to further improve image quality and with Nano Surface Coating technology, it offers stunning image clarity with minimized ghosting and flare.
This camera can provide amazing image quality with newly developed 12.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor. Coupled with the advanced image processor Venus Engine, the ZS15 features high speed, high sensitivity image recording. High speed burst shooting at 10 fps in full resolution and Light Speed AF allows you to capture even the most fleeting photo opportunities.

- POWER O.I.S - The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) suppresses the low-frequency vibration hand-shake component, which is physically generated when pressing the shutter button or when shooting at night with a slow shutter speed

- Intelligent HDR - The DMC-ZS15(TZ25) integrates Intelligent HDR (High Dynamic Range) in the iA Mode. Several still pictures consecutively shot at different exposure levels are overlaid to produce a single composite picture without whiteout (over-exposure) or blackout (under-exposure)
- 0.1 sec Light Speed AF - The DMC-ZS15(TZ25) boasts the approx. 0.1 second of Light Speed AF that helps to catch even the most fleeting photo opportunities. You can quickly focus on moving subjects, such as when you're shooting sports scenes or animals
- 10 fps with 12.1-megapixel Full Resolution - The 12.1-megapixel MOS sensor lets the DMC-ZS15(TZ25) shoot 10 fps in full resolution with mechanical shutter. You can take a series of shots, then choose the ones you like the best and delete the rest
- AF Tracking - Once you focus on your subject, the AF Tracking automatically tracks it until you press the shutter. When you're taking images of an active subject, like children or pets, this function eliminates the need to press the shutter button halfway down repeatedly to readjust the focus

| Got this camera at a great price ($150) last week and have started taking pictures. The zoom is great and the response is fast. the "true" manual is in .pdf form on the CD that comes with the camera. This is a great camera to use and the pictures are very sharp and clear. The one con I would comment on is the use in low light could be better, but this is true on all point and shoot cameras in this category. |

| This is an upgrade from my ZS8 which I loved, but moisture got inside the lens and left permanent spots on my photos. The price was great from Samy's so I decided to just buy the newer model. I travel alot and the wide angle lens is indispensible for taking shots of scenery, monuments, buildings; and the optical zoom is amazing for a camera this compact. Plus the camera is easy to hold and operate with one hand when necessary. |

This is a great little camera. I just gave away an Olympus 5060. Way over my head. With the Lumix, I have the advantage of terrific photos on auto, but can go to more advanced settings as I get used to the camera. I did a lot of research to determine which model to buy; then once I decided on the Lumix, I researched price. Samy's beat everyone by a mile! |
