The Cokin Speed filter adds streaks of light to give you the impression that something is rushing by at high speed. Your subject does not need to be moving. When the filter is used, part of the image will appear to remain stationary while the rest will appear "blurred" as if rushing by. It is recommended that you do not stop your lens aperture down too far. Otherwise, you will see the filter rather than the effect.
Please Note: Old stock, new but packaging may have signs of age.
This filter measures 85 x 85mm and fits the Cokin P series holder.
Use the Speed filter to 'catch' your subject at full speed, frame it in the center and it will look like it's going 'flat-out'.
The Super Speed filter leaves your subject intact and at the same time puts it in motion. In a whimsical fashion it sets statues in motion, and catches sportsmen in action even if they're standing still.
Used in low position, it's the filter for takeoffs; in high position, it's the one for giddy falls.
