SBN-3 sound blimp is designed for the Nikon D3, D3x, and D3s. Independent anechoic chamber tests reveal a 98% reduction in camera noise. The SBN-3 sound blimp is designed for use anywhere noise is prohibitive, like movie sets, sound stages and theaters, quiet sports venues, courtrooms and wildlife photography.
The camera fits securely in AquaTech's sound proof housing, thanks to our custom-cut sound-dampening foam. The SBN-3 is portable and incredibly easy to manage. The SBN-3 sound blimp consists of a polyurethane polymer construction, which results in a 19% lighter-weight housing than other housings. Controls are fabricated of stainless steel, hard-anodized aluminum and high-strength plastic. The SBN-3 sound blimp is not to be used in the water.
