Requirements

Samy’s Camera’s Fairfax location is seeking a full time Collections Clerk to work in our very busy Accounts Receivable department. Qualified candidates must have prior office experience, knowledge of accounting principles, working knowledge of Counterpoint and most importantly must possess strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers by telephone and resolve problems. Job Duties

As our Collections Clerk you will be performing tasks to include various office duties such as processing large volume of invoices, resolve customer inquiries, actively participate in collections activities, register closings and balancing, credit card receipt sorting and maintenance, and verify and maintain resale information.

WEBSITE ASSISTANT

Established southern California camera retailer in need of an experienced web assistant for site maintenance and data entry. As the company is close to moving forward with a new web platform and site redesign, we prefer that the candidate have experience in the following areas:

Web Content Management

• Maintain current and add new product selections.
• Organize gathering of larger images and manufacturer data.
• Oversee ongoing site copy and content improvements.
• Maintain best practices for online marketplace.

Website Launch Preparation

• Work with IT department and web group during data export before launch.
• Assist in the integration of new category structures and attribute tables in our new platform.
• Establish optimization standards for web copy and content.
• Testing during different phases of implementation (navigation, functionality, shopping cart, accuracy of data downloads).

Web Marketing

• Experience in SEO, marketing and data analysis is preferred but not required.
• Needs to have an understanding of current technologies and be able to recommend integration of those improvements with forecasting and return on investment (ROI).

Previous e-commerce and site integration experience is preferred. Familiarity with CPC campaigns, shopping search engines and email marketing essential for post-launch marketing of the site. Experience with HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Flash, MS Excel and MS Word is preferred.

Samy’s Camera has 2 immediate openings for experienced Mini Lab Technicians for both our Pasadena and Fairfax locations. Ideal candidates must have a strong back ground in lab production, C41 and RA-4 machine, preferably on a Frontier or Noritsu system.

Job Duties

Include printing, scanning and retouching in a photography-based environment. Must pay exceptional attention to detail and be proficient at color correction. Must have excellent customer service skills and available to work weekends. We seek a polished professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
