The OctoDome nxt has a greater surface area than tradional soft boxes, 1017 square inches versus 743 square inches. The larger the source, the softer the light! The Octodome nxt is ideal for DV interviews and HD applications. Adding 40 degree grids to the main light will direct the light source, preventing light from falling on the background. With it's double diffusion, the Octodome nxt truly produces the softest light in the industry. The Octodome nxt is designed to be used with the Starlite QL by way of a Starlite Octoconnector, FV-SLOCTOCONN, and can also be used with strobe lights. |
