The Auto-Focus Macro Port from Aquatica is a more streamlined version of the AF/MF port. It's the same length of the AF/MF and can also be combined with a wide range of extension rings to accommodate a large selection of macro lenses, ranging from as short as 35mm all the way to 200mm. It can also accommodate lenses equipped with internal close up lenses, teleconverters or extension tubes.

The flat lens is made of BK-7 material, finely polished and coated with a superior Silicon Oxide coating (SiO2) on the external surface. This coating is not only a more resistant type of coating but has a 0.01% reflective index, improving light transmission. Additionally this SiO2 coating is a perfect match to the index of water, which naturally reduces reflections.

The main difference of this port from the AF/MF port, aside from being lighter and narrower, is that it doesn't have the side mounted knob that can be connected to the manual focus gear.

The Aquatica Low Profile Macro Port has a shorter, much smaller length than the other flat ports and was designed to take full advantage of the much more compact macro lenses available from some manufacturers. The port can also be combined with a variety of extension rings to accommodate longer lenses, including lenses with close up lenses, teleconverters or extension tubes.

The flat lens is made of BK-7 material, finely polished and coated with a superior Silicon Oxide coating (SiO2) on the external surface. This coating is not only a more resistant type of coating but has a 0.01% reflective index, improving light transmission. Since it is dedicated to compact macro lenses, in most the manual focusing can be accessed via a gear connected to the left hand focus/zoom control knob of the housing, like its bigger sibling the 18428, this low profile flat port is designed for general purpose macro work, and it should fulfill all the needs of the dedicated photographer.

The Aquatica 8 In. Dome Port is the longest standing port in Aquatica's arsenal. Since its introduction in the 80's, images taken using the 8" dome port have graced all major underwater magazines at one point or another. To this day it is still a favorite among professional photographers who demand quality and reliability.

A real work horse, the port is a general purpose dome port made of optical grade acrylic and is well suited for large rectilinear wide angle and fisheye lenses. The 8" radius means it can easily be used for over/under photos and will produce a smooth and thin water line.

Made of optical grade acrylic, this material which has a density factor very similar to water means that minor external scratches on the dome surface are unlikely to show up in the final image, and should they ever appears, it is more than likely the surface can be repaired on site with an acrylic refurbishing kit. One of the reasons the acrylic domes are favoured by many professional photographers is that the easy to polish material provides years of loyal services and easy field maintenance even in the remotest of places.

The rugged dome shade is integrated and its extended petals allow the housing to be placed face down, a useful characteristic when working on the camera housing. The neoprene cover protects the entire surface of the dome and is supplied with the port.
