The Enterprises Blue Ring Gaffer's Glass (Red Samy's Camera Edition) is an essential "Tool of the Trade" for professional set lighting. It is designed to allow you to locate the center of your key light or "hot spot" to accurately determine where to position lighting to achieve optimum coverage. By holding the Blue Ring Gaffer's Glass™ up to one eye while standing no less than 10 ft away from the source of the light, you can look through the Blue Ring Gaffer's Glass™ into your key light while your assistant focuses the light to your liking. This will give you a precise pattern for where your light will be thrown, it also gives you an idea of drop off and voids.

The Blue Ring Gaffer's Glass™ is also used to check the condition of light filament, and to locate the sun when it is behind clouds. The Blue Ring Gaffer's Glass™ is not designed to look directly at the sun. Use it only to locate the sun through clouds.

The Blue Ring Gaffer's Glass™ features 6061 aluminum with anodized finish, glass has a 3.8 density with UV inhibitor, and a 36" lanyard to be conveniently worn around the neck. This tool is a must have for all Gaffer's and DP's Worldwide.

The Alan Gordon Enterprises Mini Director's Viewfinder is one of the lightest and most compact models of the Viewfinders sold through Alan Gordon Enterprises, Inc. Designed for the budget concious filmmaker & to meet today's requirements for both theatrical motion picture and television production.

The Pocket Mini Director's Viewfinder is a proven, versatile accessory for directors, cinematographers, production designers, set builders and location scouts in the film and television industry. Used as recommended this instrument will improve creativity and flexibility in defining choices of lenses, angles, and coverage on the set or location.

The Pocket Mini Director's Viewfinder features various aspect ratios for you to choose from. Various lens focal lengths are clearly marked along the barrel of the Director's Viewfinder providing you with rapid selection of lens focal lengths. The Collapsible Rubber Eye Cup can be collapsed to a folded position thus allowing those wearing glasses to position the finder close to the eye for maximum clarity of viewing and prevents the scratching of your glasses. You may gently turn the rubber eyecup counter clockwise to adjust the focus. Telescopes from 2 1/2" to 3 1/2".

The Pocket Mini viewfinder will give you readings for a number of digital sensors within 10% of a given lens focal length. To achieve this, set the aspect ratio ring to 16X9 and read the 35mm column.
