C300 Stinger In-Line Shoulder Mounted Rig

The Zacuto Stinger In-Line Shoulder Mounted Rig C300 system best used on long shooting days. It is a balanced shoulder mounted rig. It features our C300 Studio Baseplate which attaches to the camera with 3/8 In. 16 and ¼ In. 20 screws*. This baseplate features a pair of 15mm rods that are 12 In. long running through the length of the baseplate. You can quickly reposition the rods for various lens lengths by loosening the 2 levers, one on each side of the baseplate. On each side of the baseplate there is a set of 15mm lightweight holes. The side holes take 15mm female rods that are locked via an Allen screw.

You can add an arm, a rod or an EVF Mount. Or you could add two short female/female rods and mount a Zwiss Plate with professional batteries off of the side when shooting on a tripod for better balance. The baseplate has standard ¼ In. 20 and 3/8 In. 16 holes on the bottom for mounting the rig onto a tripod. The Stinger includes our Shoulder Pad with 7 In. rods and Z-Lite 7 lb counterbalance weight for a fully balanced in-line rig. (Want to attach batteries at the back instead? Check out our Stinger Plus.) You can slide the counterbalance weight forward and backward on the rods for custom comfort.

This rig can be used on your left or right shoulder. With the shoulder pad and counterbalance weight coming directly off of the back of the baseplate, the rig is perfectly in-line and ready to be used with one of our EVFs for traditional ENG style shooting. You can mount your EVF to the side of the rig using our EVF Standard Mount Kit. You can also use the flip out screen on the Canon EOS C300 camera when it is mounted on top of the handle and tipped down. This rig is compatible with any 15mm accessories. The Z-Focus would be a great add on accessory if you are looking for a follow focus.

* NOTE: The screw hole pattern on the C300 Studio Baseplate is ¼ In. 20, 3/8 In. 16, 3/8 In. 16, 3/8 In. 16. To mount the C300 camera, you will use the 1/4 In. 20 and the first 3/8 In. 16 screw hole. C300 Striker Camera Rig

The Zacuto Striker Camera Rig for the Canon C100/300/500 is a step up from the Target Shooter. It is designed for lightweight, run’n’gun shooting stabilization. It is super light and easy to handle. The Striker rig features the Gorilla Baseplate which attaches to your camera using 3/8 In. 16 and ¼ In. 20 screws. This kit is for the Canon C300/100/500 and RED Scarlet and Epic cameras. The Gorilla Baseplate also features a set of 15mm lightweight threaded holes in the front of the baseplate. This allows users to mount a follow focus, lens support or other accessories in front of the camera. The rod to lens height is not standard, so it is not compatible with a matte box unless you have a height adjustable matte box*.

The Gorilla Baseplate has a 15mm hole in the bottom in order to attach the main vertical rod for the Striker Rig. The rig can be freed from the Gorilla Baseplate by flipping the red lever. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Baseplate for quickly moving from handheld to tripod. The Striker Rig includes the Zacuto Gunstock, just like the Target Shooter, but expands upon that by adding a Zgrip handgrip. The handgrip gives you an extra point of contact. Simply brace the Gunstock against your shoulder, hold one hand on the handle and the other on your lens and you are ready to shoot! This kit has minimal set up time and is very light and easy to use. This rig works best when using the eyepiece on the C300/100/500 camera.

The Zacuto Target Shooter Camera Rig for the Canon C100/300/500 is our simplest rig. It is designed for lightweight run’n’gun shooting stabilization. DSLR Field Cinema Standard Bundle v2

Fast Draw Black

The Zacuto Fast Draw Black is a shoulder mounted handheld system that uses our DSLR baseplate. It comes with all black rods. This kit works on any DSLR camera with or without battery grips as it is infinitely adjustable in height. The baseplate attaches to your tripod plate using the standard tripod plate screws, (2) ¼ 20” and (1) 3/8 16”. Your camera can also be quickly released from the rig by turning the red knob then pulling up on your camera. The camera quick release plate stays mounted to your camera so you can quickly switch between using the camera as part of a rig or on its own. You can easily add the optional Z-Finder Pro by attaching the Z-Finder Mounting Frame (included with the Z-Finder Pro) to the camera quick release plate using two thumb screws.

The Fast Draw uses our shoulder pad and 7lb. counter balance weight so you have a fully balanced rig. A fully balanced rig lessens fatigue as you will not be fighting the front heaviness of the rig. The rig can be configured for use on the left or right shoulder. It uses a single handgrip with the Z-mount Zwivel which allows you to change the vertical angle of handgrip. Recoil Lite Rig for C300/Scarlet/Epic Cameras

The Zacuto Recoil Lite Rig is a stripped down version of our larger, standard Recoil kit. The Recoil Lite is compatible with the Canon C300/100/500, RED Scarlet and Epic cameras. In this Recoil concept, the camera sits directly on your shoulder like a typical ENG Camera. The Recoil Lite starts with our Gorilla Baseplate, which attaches to the camera with 3/8 In. 16 and ¼ In. 20 screws*. The Gorilla Baseplate features 15mm diameter, 60mm spaced threaded rod holes in the front of the plate that allow users to mount a follow focus, lens support or other accessories in front of the camera. The Gorilla Baseplate is not compatible for matte box use unless you have a height adjustable matte box**.

Unique to the Recoil Lite (and Recoil) is the use of the Zacuto Q-Release in mounting our Shoulder Pad. The Q-release allows you to mount the shoulder pad directly underneath the camera and then quick release the shoulder pad from the rig by flipping the two levers on the side. This gives you two things; the ability to quickly attach the rig to a tripod and vice versa, and the ability to have the camera sit directly on your shoulder eliminating the front heaviness.

The Recoil Lite requires the use of an EVF or other external monitor. We recommend using the Z-Finder EVF Pro and the EVF Rod Mount to mount the EVF to the Recoil Lite. With the Recoil Lite, the operator can hold onto the 15mm rods coming off the front of the Gorilla Baseplate for balance. If you prefer lower handgrips - check out the full Recoil. The Recoil Lite is a great kit for run & gun style or all day shooting with the Canon C300/100/500, Epic or Scarlet. It is an extremely versatile kit.

* NOTE: The screw hole pattern on the Gorilla Baseplate is ¼ In. 20, ¼ In. 20, 3/8 In. 16, 3/8 In. 16. The first ¼ In. 20 and 3/8 In. 16 screw holes are for mounting the C300/100/500. The Zacuto Recoil Rig is the ultimate balanced rig for the C300/100/500, Scarlet and Epic Cameras. In the Recoil concept, the camera sits directly on your shoulder like a typical ENG camera. The Recoil is super light and stripped down (if you are looking for something even more stripped down, check out the Recoil Lite). The Recoil starts with our Studio Baseplate. It attaches to the camera with 3/8 In. 16 and ¼ In. 20 screws*. There are 12 In. lightweight spaced 15mm threaded rods running through the Studio Baseplate.

These can be extended to hold additional accessories at the front or back of the kit. The can slide back and forth through the plate to accommodate different lens lengths by loosening the two levers on the side of the plate. The Studio Baseplate also features lightweight spaced rod holes on either side of the plate. They accept a female rod end (or Zacuto Zamerican Articulating Arm ) and tighten with an Allen. When sitting on a tripod, you can mount a Zwiss Plate from the rod ports on the side of the baseplate (via two short female/female rods, not included) for better balance.

Unique to the Recoil is the use of the Zacuto Q-Release and Shoulder Pad. The Q-release allows you to mount the shoulder pad directly underneath the camera and be able to quickly release the shoulder pad from the rig by flipping two levers. This gives you two things: the ability to quickly attach the rig to a tripod and vice versa, and the ability to have the camera sit directly on your shoulder eliminating the front heaviness. Coming off the front of the Recoil is our dual handgrip system, the Zgrips V3.

The Recoil requires the use of an EVF. We recommend using the Z-Finder EVF Pro and the EVF Rod Mount to mount the EVF to the Recoil. Our Grip Relocator for the C100/300/500** would be a great addition to this kit. The Recoil is a great kit for run & gun style or all day shooting with the EOS C300, Epic or Scarlet. It is an extremely versatile kit.

The Zacuto Studio Baseplate with 12 In. rods for Canon C100/300/500 is made specifically for the EOS C300/100/500 cameras. It is exceptionally flat which helps keep the center of gravity low. This baseplate features a pair of 15mm rods that are 12 In. long running through the length of the baseplate. You can quickly reposition the rods for various lens lengths by loosening the 2 levers, one on each side of the baseplate.

On each side of the baseplate there is also a set of 15mm lightweight holes. The side holes take 15mm female rods that are locked via an Allen screw. This gives users a virtually unlimited amount of mounting options. With these side holes, you have the option of turning the baseplate into a cage configuration.
