Great reviews on this lens and I have not been disappointed. Sorry to see the price went up $26 from when I bought it. A bit slow to focus from end to end but once you are close to focus it is very fast. Sharpest at 5.6 and 8 Exactly what I want for street photography due it the small size compared to my 24-70.

The most classic lens out there. Beautiful bokeh. Faster is always better so don't settle for the 1.8!

This is the ideal lens for low light shooting.. Not too much perspective do to wide angle or too tight limiting you shot only being far from you.. Nikkor quality build, you can't go wrong. Definitely recommend!
