I've been wanting to buy Lumix DMC- GX1 for the longest time and Samys had the best deal. I got the camera, lens, bag and 16GB memory card for $400!! The manual gives clear explanations on how to operate the camera and I love that it has a touch screen. Only downside is that the screen is fixed. Anyways, if you are looking for a camera that has better quality and more options than typical digital camera but smaller than DSLR, four thirds are the best thing to get. GX1 did not disappoint me.

my first upgrade from using point and shoots all my life. recommended from a friend, and i couldnt be happier. easy to use, quick to learn and takes great pictures. i just made myself an instant photographer, although if i know if i knew how to use to rest of the functions, i could be even better. that's the beauty of this one. out of the box, you are already better, and with the options to take it to another level. samys also had the best price and threw in 16G memory and a bag. only complaint is when i bought it, it only came with 8G memory. how about a free upgrade samys?
